We transfered and organized the content from an older content management system (CMS), Mambo, to a new site created with a more current Content Management System. The new site included transferring 700 registered users, more than 80 pages with various user access levels, product purchases made with PayPal, and nearly 100 links to articles in other websites.

With all the old content input into the existing site, IDEA's new content management system will allow them to increase their website's functionality to their employees and members.

Quasar Global provides all aspects of IT management, installation, and support for a company's whole IT environment, from communications to servers to workstations and peripherals.

Having assisted them with a number of website projects, Quasar Global decided they wanted a website overhaul and redesign to expand their market base. The new site features two unique website layouts, a very consistent color-scheme, numerous slideshows, dropdown menus, and a newsletter component.

Teepee Creepers came to us just having purchased an Joomla 1.0 online store (and url) from another company and needed some help getting everything setup properly. Since Fall 2009, we've done a variety of tasks to further refine their site, including adding a newsletter extension, creating holiday graphics, styling copy for their homepage, changing hosts & domain names, and cleaning up unnecessary products in their backend.

In April 2010, we launched a Joomla rebuild and redesign of their ecommerce site. This site features a product slideshow on the homepage, scrolling testimonials, thorough customized styling throughout all aspects of the site, new photos of all products similarly displayed, lightbox of all product images, and recommended products box.

We're very proud of this deluxe shopping cart site and absolutely love wearing our Teepee Creepers.

Grand Effects designs custom Outdoor Fire Features for Commercial and Residential Properties.

We initially made improvements to their pre-existing Flash based website, but encouraged them to abandon a "Flash only" design to take advantage of the improved SEO and many features of a Joomla based website. The new website features a Flash slide show on the home page and a photo gallery using a "lightbox" style display feature. Grand Effects has made good use of a newsletter component to notify their opt-in mailing list of over 1300 about new products and other relevant periodic information.

LoganBerry Heritage Farm is a Southern Appalachian Heritage Farm whose mission is to encourage healthy living by growing organic food sustainably.

LoganBerry Heritage Farm came to us looking for a site that reflected the beauty and welcoming feeling of the farm without blowing their budget.

We were able to deliver this beautiful site by dividing tasks between us and a couple of LoganBerry's pre-trained volunteers. Together we put together a site of great praise that features several pages, a blog with rss, facebook & CC-newsletter integration, customized template tweaks, and trained volunteers that can easily update the site.

We cannot take the credit for how lovely this site looks. Volunteer Lia Powell managed the development of this site on LoganBerry's end, choosing a design template that worked well for their farm, finding nice images of the farm, and pursuing the content that makes this site flourish. Having worked with Lia before on previous projects, we were familiar with her strengths and merely setup the structure for her to work with and customized the template and other features for her development. We very much enjoyed working on this project with LoganBerry and look forward to seeing their growth in the future.

American Sports Bra creates patented sports bras and bathing suits that use a special two bras in one design that supports women and allows them to look great.

This website challenged us with its desire to reflect the simplicity and invigorating nature of the bra with the design and layout of the website itself.

The site features search engine friendly content links and a back-end content management system that will allow American Sports Bra to add new retailers and other content items themselves.

Action Billiard Cues & Cases, one of the top selling value brands in billiards, deliver top-quality manufacturing, solid-consistent play, and a growing legion of fans.

Action came to us wanting to turn one of their website designs into a custom Joomla template.

We worked intimately with their design department and developed a slick template that would allow for future expansion of their site. This site features a slideshow on the homepage, dropdown menus compatible with Internet Explorer 6 and up (as well as other browsers), and will have the ability to expand it's pages to display Action's products in the future.

Byers Construction has been building quality homes in Santa Cruz County for over 30 years.

We produced a Joomla website with a custom template that would feature the high quality of their work. This site business-card style website features an easily navigable project photo gallery which automatically sizes the photos into thumbnails and opens photos in a lightbox.

ESG Home Care Services provide comprehensive non-medical home health services with a focus in adult and geriatric care.

ESG Home Care Services came to us looking for a basic business-card style website that would reflect the care and understanding they have for their clients.

Knowing that the elderly would be a large number of people looking at their website, we created a template that was friendly towards that audience, using text sizes that were a bit larger than normal and clear navigation. The site features a rather pretty custom template, a contact form, translucent backgrounds on the main text areas, textual emphasizing within the content areas, and custom logo creation.

If their care and kindness is any indication of a good business, we look forward to watching this company grow.

The annual Myasthenia Gravis Walkathon raises "funds for research, patient services, public education and information in the fight against Myasthenia Gravis."

The Garden State Chapter of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation (MGNJ) came to us looking for site that further brings together the energy of the walkathon community and enhances their ability to fund raise and collect donations. As a 501c3 nonprofit, MGNJ needed to reduce costs. We minimized the design phase by modifying one of Joomla's pre-designed templates and customizing it to fit MGNJ's needs.

This site features a community component that allows walkathon members to develop profiles and a feature that allows the community to form teams and enable conversations through with a wiki. For their fundraising side, the site features a fundraising and donation add-on that allows secure donations directly to paypal and records the list of donors to a cvs spreadsheet for tax purposes. This add-on also displays a list of the cause's top donors, a goal for the amount raised, and a total of the amount raised so far. This site also features drop-down menus.

Sun Powered Productions researched a variety of extensions for this project and worked with the tech support at a couple of extension companies, including OsSolutions who provided excellent service and advice.

Michael Weisbrot, aka Wallpaper Mike does wallpaper installation, wallpaper removal and wallcovering estimates in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas of California.

Mike came to us looking to establish more of a business presence on the web.  Having run a successful wallpaper installation and removal business for nearly 40 years, Mike was seeing his business slowly dwindle and needed something to regenerate interest.

Using photos of speciality jobs Mike had taken over the years, and a collection of testimonials he gathered from the website Service Magic, we created a basic website to showcase his work.  The site features a custom design, a gallery that displays his work in thumbnails with a popup lightbox feature, and scrolling testimonials on the homepage.

Since his website launched, Mike has seen a significant increase in clients as well as an increase in the number of quality projects that meet his high level of expertise.

Training Resource Group is California's "One-Stop-Shop" for Security Officer training.

Training Resource Group came to us looking to turn their regular html site into a Joomla site. We took the design from their old site and adapted it for Joomla, changing the menu design slightly to allow for future menu expansion. Included on the new site is an Event Management system that integrates with EventBrite and a newsletter sign-up integrated with Infusionsoft.

Choosing their own design template, we customized the template, quickly putting together some new graphics and editing some of the module positions, to produce a very clean, professional look. This website features a contact form, customized template modifications, and a very slick look capable of expanding into the future.

WoodMaster provides high quality cabinetry and custom woodwork for home owners and construction companies on the California central coast.

WoodMaster came to us looking for better solution to improve his search engine rank. His original site was a 200+page, basic html site which lacked consistent navigation. To make his content more search engine friendly and consistent, we recreated his site with a content management system, which automates page item layouts, navigation and page headings.

WoodMaster's redesigned site now features search engine friendly urls, a special flash animated image menu for the home page, rotating testimonies, and enlarging lightbox product images. With his content now SEO friendly, we are looking forward working with WoodMaster next on improving their web presence.

This June The Scottish Renaissance Festival of Santa Cruz encourages you to don your bodice or kilt and pack your bagpipe to come experience the music, engage in impromptu theatrical performance, salute the Queen and raise a glass at Santa Cruz counties own annual renaissance event. The proceeds go to the Charity Events non-profit organization.

For the past few years, Sun Powered Productions has sponsored our authentic period costumed friends, updating and redesigning a website to suite their Renaissance needs. The truth is, from our first irish fiddle tune to our first taste of mead we have become "renies" ourselves.

The 2009 site features CSS and PHP coding with a cry of "freedom" and a longing for those rolling hills of the Scotland.

For 2010, we upgrade their site into Joomla.

Paradise Center for Spiritual Learning is a spiritual community that respects and accepts people for who they are and supports a person's spiritual growth to their highest potential.

The Paradise Center for Spiritual Learning came to us in the mist of a website transformation. Having obtained a Joomla Template from their mother organization, the United Centers for Spiritual Learning, they found themselves stuck on how to future modify the template and build the site they desired. They just needed some help and guidance.

We cleaned up the excess files in their administrative backend, modified their template to the colors they wanted, configured their event management system properly, and created a beautiful flash slideshow for their homepage. Once their website was properly configured, we provided a thorough training of the Joomla administrative backend.

We enjoy projects that empower a person to understand and manage their own website.

Delta Protective Services is California's premiere provider of security officers, marked vehicle patrol services and private investigations.

Delta Protective Services was looking for an easier way for multiple users to make changes to their site. Their site was built with Adobe Contribute, a program that made it difficult to make consistent changes across all pages and also wasn't laying content out correctly in all browsers.

Sun Powered Productions upgraded their site into the Joomla content management system. Making only some minor adjustments to their site's original look, we converted their design into a Joomla template and rebuilt their content with cleaner code to make it easier for search engines to read.

Though it may look the similar, rebuild of Delta Protective Services is now more friendly to search engines, easier to edit by Delta's admins, and also lays out nicely in all browsers.

CPS Certification Services provides cleanroom testing and cleanroom evaluation services to the cleanroom industry.

We began our relationship with CPS Certification in 2005 by making some small changes to their existing website. Soon after we did a basic redesign of their website. As their business grew, we re-assessed their website and in early 2007 we produced a SEO optimized custom website.

NEW REDESIGN! With the increase of incoming clients, CPS Certification Services upgraded their website a third time in 2009 to a company resource center, providing more information for clients online to help streamline the assessment process.

CPS Certification has done a good job of exchanging links with other websites in their industry. Doing so not only brings referral traffic to their website, but also improves their websites standing with search engines. It has been a real pleasure to work with CPS Certification throughout the years.
